Bonjour Terms of Use

Welcome to Bonjour, a pet-first mobility platform operated by Pawpledge Pte Ltd ("Bonjour", "we", "our" or "us").

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Bonjour website, mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including website visitors, riders, pet owners, Driver Partners, Driver Partner applicants and any other individuals who access or interact with the Platform.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

1. About Bonjour

Bonjour is a pet-first mobility platform operated by Pawpledge Pte Ltd that connects pet owners with independent Driver Partners who provide pet-friendly transportation services.

Driver Partners are independent service providers and are not employees, agents or representatives of Bonjour. Bonjour acts solely as a technology platform facilitating bookings between users and Driver Partners.

Bonjour is not a transportation provider and does not own, operate or control the vehicles used by Driver Partners.

Bonjour currently operates in Singapore. If Bonjour expands into other jurisdictions, additional country-specific terms, policies and requirements may apply.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

  • Information provided is accurate and complete.

  • You have authority to make bookings on behalf of yourself and any accompanying passengers.

  • You are responsible for your pets during the journey unless otherwise specified by the selected service.

3. Account Registration

Certain services may require an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.

You must notify Bonjour immediately of any unauthorised access or suspected security breach.

4. Booking Services

Bookings made through the Platform are requests for transportation services.

Bonjour does not guarantee service availability in all locations, at all times, or for all ride categories. All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by a Driver Partner.

Estimated fares, arrival times and journey durations are provided for convenience only and may vary due to traffic conditions, route changes, waiting time, ERP charges, parking fees or other applicable surcharges.

Bonjour reserves the right to refuse, cancel or decline any booking where reasonably necessary for safety, operational, legal or service quality reasons.

Bonjour may introduce new ride categories, features, subscription programmes or services from time to time. Additional terms may apply to such services where indicated.

5. Payments

By making a booking, you authorise Bonjour to collect applicable charges.

Additional charges may apply, including but not limited to:

  • ERP charges

  • Parking fees

  • Entry fees

  • Waiting time charges

  • Door-to-door service surcharges

  • Cleaning fees where applicable

All charges will be displayed or communicated where reasonably practicable.

Unless otherwise stated, all fares and fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed in accordance with Bonjour's applicable policies and may take several business days depending on the payment provider.

6. Pet Requirements

Pet owners are responsible for ensuring that all information provided about their pet is accurate, including any behavioural, medical or special handling requirements.

Pet owners remain responsible for their pets throughout the journey unless the selected service expressly permits unattended pet transport.

Pet owners are responsible for ensuring that all applicable laws, licensing and import, export or quarantine requirements are complied with where relevant.

Pet owners must ensure that any receiving party at the destination is aware of and prepared for the pet's arrival.

For the safety of all parties:

  • Pets should be reasonably healthy and fit for travel. Pet owners are responsible for assessing whether their pet is suitable for transport.

  • Aggressive or dangerous animals must be disclosed before booking.

  • Cats should travel in a secure carrier unless otherwise agreed.

  • Certain ride categories, destinations or circumstances may require pets to travel in an appropriate carrier, crate or restraint.

  • Owners are responsible for ensuring their pets are appropriately restrained where required.

  • Driver Partners may decline, cancel or terminate a trip where a pet presents a safety risk, has not been properly disclosed, or where the booking materially differs from the information provided at the time of booking.

Animals may behave unpredictably despite reasonable precautions. Bonjour and Driver Partners may take reasonable steps necessary to protect the safety of passengers, pets, Driver Partners and the public.

While Bonjour and Driver Partners take reasonable care during transport, pet owners acknowledge that the transportation of animals carries inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

7. Lost, Escaped or Injured Pet

In the event of a pet becoming lost, escaping, falling ill or being injured during a journey, Bonjour and the Driver Partner will take reasonable steps to contact the pet owner and manage the situation appropriately. However, Bonjour does not guarantee the prevention of such incidents and shall not be liable except where required by applicable law.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform unlawfully.

  • Impersonate another person.

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.

  • Upload malicious software or code.

  • Misuse the Platform or attempt unauthorised access to any part of it.

  • Provide inaccurate, false, misleading or incomplete booking or account information.

  • Harass, threaten or abuse Driver Partners or Bonjour personnel.

  • Damage vehicles or property.

  • Circumvent the Platform to arrange services directly with Driver Partners.

9. Cleaning Fees and Property Damage

Where a pet causes significant soiling of a vehicle, including urine, faeces, vomit or other contamination, Bonjour may charge a cleaning fee of up to S$100, or such other amount notified by Bonjour from time to time, subject to supporting evidence and review by Bonjour.

This cleaning fee is separate from any repair or replacement costs arising from damage to the vehicle or other property caused during a journey.

10. Cancellation and No-Shows

Cancellation policies may vary by service type.

Applicable cancellation charges may be communicated during booking or within the Platform.

Failure to appear at the agreed pick-up location may result in the booking being treated as a no-show and charged accordingly.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Bonjour provides the Platform on an "as available" basis.

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

  • We are not responsible for delays, traffic conditions, weather events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

  • Bonjour's aggregate liability arising out of any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected booking.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

12. Photos, Videos and Promotional Content

During the provision of services, Bonjour or Driver Partners may take photographs or videos where reasonably necessary for operational, safety, quality assurance, training or incident investigation purposes.

Bonjour may also use photographs or videos for marketing or promotional purposes only where permitted by applicable law. Where individuals are clearly identifiable, Bonjour may obtain additional consent where required by applicable law.

13. Suspension and Termination

Bonjour may suspend or terminate access to the Platform where:

  • These Terms are breached.

  • Fraudulent activity is suspected.

  • Safety concerns arise.

  • Continued access may adversely affect other users or the Platform.

14. Communications

Bonjour may communicate with you via email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, telephone or any other contact method associated with your account where reasonably necessary for the operation of the Platform.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, software and materials on the Platform remain the property of Bonjour or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute or use such materials without prior written consent.

Nothing in these Terms grants any licence or ownership rights in the intellectual property of Bonjour except as expressly permitted.

16. Changes to These Terms

Bonjour may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Platform after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Force Majeure

Bonjour shall not be liable for any delay, interruption or failure to perform its obligations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, public health emergencies, labour disputes, system failures or telecommunications outages.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines published by Bonjour from time to time, constitute the entire agreement governing your use of the Platform.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
